Cardiologic Unit
Head of the unit:
Janusz Bednarski, MD PhD
Head Nurse:
Marzena Pietraszek
Number of beds: 23
The Cardiology Unit has 23 beds including 8 cardiological intensive care beds. Those beds are monitored, and equipped with modern respirators.
We use telemetry techniques and modern non-invasive cardiological diagnostic techniques (echocardiography, ecg holter and blood pressure holter).
The unit is on duty every day and receives patients with all cardiological diseases, especially acute coronary syndrome.
The unit cooperates with leading cardiological clinics in Warsaw. In 2004 we became a basic reference unit in cardiology.
Doctors who work in the unit are specialists, three of them cardiologists. We also have a program for treating Myocardial Infarcus and Acute Coronary Syndrome.
