Established in January 2006, our Urology Department offers a wide range of procedures including: prevention and treatment of urolithiasis, prostate and male reproductive organ diseases, the operational correction of urinary tract malformations, and a full range of medical oncology.
The operating theatre is one of the most ultra-modern designed facilities in Poland equipped with high-tech devices for endourologic procedures. It is possible to document surgery simultaneously through digital imagery and video recording provided by the special EndoALFA program. The program allows for the archiving of data. The endoscopic visualization works in standard HDTV. Rectoscopes have a specially designed working device with the ability to apply mono and bipolar loops (TURIS). We also have special devices for fotodynamic diagnosis (PDD), and devices with hi-tech solutions from Olympus that allow visualization forms like videoureteroscope (the camera on the top of the machine gives a larger and more precise view/picture). In addition, we have pliable fiberoscopes with NBI function (Narrow Band Imaging).
For the benefit of our patients the provided surgeries are conducted with constant monitoring in doctors’ rooms, and can also be transmitted to a conference room. We have created an operating environment has been developed to the highest technical specifications and which uses the most state of the art endourological equipment.
