Number of beds: 31
The Surgical Ward was opened in March, 2005. We have 31 beds in high standard double, triple, and single rooms.
We also have a surgical intensive care room with 3 beds. The room is equipped with modern monitoring devices. All rooms meet international standards and ensure the highest levels of comfort for patients.
Patients are taken care of by a specialised team of doctors and nurses, who guarantee the highest level of medical treatment. Thanks to qualified staff and world class equipment we are able to conduct a full range of operations – from minor surgery to more complex major procedures. The modern Intensive Care Unit helps us to take care of patients after serious operations.
In our ward we have the first integrated operating room used for laparoscopic surgeries in Poland. The ward has gained accreditation as a training centre for laparoscopic surgery.
Along with the Surgical Ward, we work in a Surgical Outpatient Clinic where patients are prepared for operations, and where full postoperative care is provided.
Progress in medicine requires our medical staff to continuously upgrade their skills and increase their knowledge. Physicians who work in the Surgical Ward therefore attend numerous scientific conferences, conventions, and training sessions in Poland and abroad. They also publish their research results in scientific journals.
